| Introduction | I live in beautiful Sonoma County, California with my family and pets on a property near the coast. I write poetry about botany, the oceans, and stars. I was born in London and then raised in the Boston area. I attended Buckingham, Browne & Nichols School and then received my BA in French and art history at Tufts University, the Ecole du Louvre, and the Sorbonne. I worked throughout college at Sotheby's in Boston, Washington, DC, and Paris. I worked at Harvard University Art Museums and the National Portrait Gallery. I pursued a graduate studies program at Winterthur Museum in the decorative arts and joined my uncle in his business specializing in 18/19th c. English antiques. I met my husband John at Tufts and we lived in NYC in the 90's where he worked in law as well as continuing his music as a signed MCA recording artist in the band Justice System. I worked at Sotheby's New York in Books & Manuscripts and in Old Master Paintings. I then worked at GOURMET under Ruth Riechl before joining the Style Dept. at HOUSE BEAUTIFUL. My own antiques business and freelance styling are ongoing with my emerging career in writing and poetry. |
