| Introduction | I started my career as a child actor in LA, and since I continued looking like a child up until my early 20s that carried me for a long time. I've finally graduated to playing late teens and early twenties. If you're of the Reno 911! age group, you may have seen me on Season 5. After deciding college wasn't for me (it happens...) my interest in eating became a profession. This, in turn, developed into my first book Veganize This!, in 2011. I went down that path for a while, and I'm still there, by running several restaurants, culminating in my own meal prep company, Sidewalk Sages (born 2017-RIP 2021)while continually acting and producing. Then everything changed! I got exposed to the healthy gifts of the Mediterranean diet and saw the light of my Ashkenazi Ancestors--the cuisines are weirdly intertwined. I suppose it's due to history, so this is my next plan: find out the secrets of eating healthy, clean, non-processed meals that are easy to make and won't break the bank. | Interests | Ice Cream, local and homemade; trying out numerous variations of the same recipe; countless hours of food photography; elaborate fromage and charcuterie boards; bedazzled breakfast sandwiches and cheese quesadillas; forget-me-not tacos; raise-the-dead shelf stable sauces. And the usual of watching all the newest shows while eating good ol' mac'n'cheese, or diving into a book of queer romance and coming-of-age stories. NOT hiking, though. |
