| Introduction | Rebecca Hillerby graduated from Slippery Rock University with a bachelor of arts in dance. She has studied jazz, tap, ballet, modern, partnering, pilates, improvisation, and hip-hop. She choreographed and performed for Slippery Rock Univ. Dance Theatre. Rebecca was secretary of Sigma Rho Delta, the dance honorary, and the student director of the American College Dance Festival Assoc., hosted by SRU in 2004. She held an internship at the Broadway Dance Center in NYC where she studied with some of the best teachers in the country and gained much knowledge in performing, choreographing, and teaching dance. She was also a member of SRU’s co-ed cheerleading team, where she competed nationally on ESPN and won 4th place in the National Partner Stunt Competition. In 2006 she produced and directed a professional dance concert entitled “Dance Exposure” including performances from professional dance companies from all over the Northeast United States. Rebecca has been a freelance choreographer, performer, and dance educator throughout the United States and Europe since 2004. |
