| Introduction | I had been in the investment, trust, or banking disciplines of financial services for more than 40 years. For most of that time I was in the corporate world. Following corporate life, I was a partner in an independent Registered Investment Advisor firm providing investment and consulting services. Educationally, my BS in Business Administration is from Fresno State and I completed the Executive Management Program at the Yale School of Organization and Management. Personally, my wife, Lori, and I have two young adult children, Alex and Julia, and a terrier-mix named Chloe, or Co-Co for short. Originally a farm boy from California’s San Joaquin Valley, I've lived for extended periods in Los Angeles and Delaware before settling in Waxhaw, North Carolina, a rural suburb of Charlotte. In addition to my family, my interests include cars, dogs, horses, economics, business, and government, not necessarily in that order. Now retired, I have plenty of time to devote to bitching and complaining about things that tick me off, or waxing poetic about things I love. As the Blog says, “Everyone Is Entitled to My Opinion.” |
