Introduction	In college, I was diagnosed with PCOS (PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome). I never would have guessed then that the condition that caused me to gain ungodly amounts of weight for no reason would also prevent me from doing the one thing left on my list after finishing college, starting my career, and marrying my wonderful husband...finally becoming a mom! After years of unsuccessful fertility treatments, I finally got pregnant. We were overjoyed, but we lost the baby in the first trimester. Taking our fertility doctor's advice to try again asap, I got pregnant again. Everything went smoothly...we saw the baby move, we heard the baby's heartbeat, and I eventually felt the baby moving. My model pregnancy was cut short when a sonogram appointment showed there was no heartbeat. We mourned losing another baby, and felt our hopes of being parents crushed until we began exploring adoption. After more losses in that process, we have finally found our baby! Birthmom is wonderful, and we are thrilled to share our bundle of joy's life with her and her family.
