IntroductionI love FREEDOM. I love people who believe in Freedom, and those who chase after it... BEAUTY captures my attention; I see Beauty everywhere, sometimes in the most unexpected places...seeing that beauty makes me want to capture it for others... I love COLOR. Whether it be through my camera lens or on my paintbrush, on a canvas, or walking through the open air market in some other far-off place...Color lives and breathes and has a voice. GRACE is what my name means; and in my life I have been the recipient of such grace that I can never forget. Even when I have attempted to erase the memory, Grace crept up behind me and threw its arms about me... And so in return I embrace redemption, restoration, and unconditional love. There is ONE petal on this flower in question. He LOVES me.
InterestsGod at work. a good photograph. drawing and painting, and enjoying the works of others. a song that brings tears to my eyes. listening to my dad play guitar. playing guitar on my own. singing folk songs with my sisters. walking in the rain with or without an umbrella listening to children laugh and watching them at play. all things created by God. watching a sunrise with hot chocolate and a handful of good friends. being in a big department store at Christmas. good conversations. coffee with cream. being with people I love. scribbling down my thoughts in my journal. and a lot of other things...
Favorite moviesDefinitely like movies...especially going to watch them on the big screen. I enjoy old as well as new. Ohh...there are lots of these. Lots of good ones that deserve to be mentioned...today one I was thinking of is "DaN in REal LiFe"
Favorite musicAll kinds of music... I'm in favor of it in general. It has been a part of my life always from birth to present, and is therefore hard to define. I like all types, styles and genres.
Favorite booksBooks...Also in favor of these and while I love them, I don't read as much as I used to. My fifth grade teacher and my mother taught me to have a love for reading and I will be forever grateful. There is an old poem of Strickland Gillilan in which one line says: You may have tangible wealth untold; Caskets of jewels and coffers of gold. Richer than I you can never be -- I had a Mother who read to me. Books. I like the way they smell, the way they look lined up on a wall, the way they feel in your hand and the knowledge that what you read could change your life...
