| Introduction | Welcome to the website of the Tangalle Muslim Welfare Society TMWS Foundation was established in 2008 and was registered as an approved charitable organization. Main Objective of this foundation is to establish, manage, develop and maintain educational centers in all part of the island for the children, youth and aged persons to conduct classes for the teaching of Islam and to improve reading facilities and provide books, periodicals and other reading materials and organize promote and encourage lectures and demonstrations relating to education and other fields which are beneficial to the general public of Sri Lanka. |

Meet the needs of the local community by promoting health, education and employment opportunities. Provide Muslims and non-Muslims with the opportunity to learn and understand Islam, through dialogue, discussion and social interaction. Contribute to the social, cultural, spiritual and economic enhancement of the whole community, through policy and strategy development and service. We are working towards making this website a medium where all aspects relating to the mosque and the community are addressed. Therefore, your feedback is welcome and will be greatly appreciated as it will assist us in achieving our goals. The Membership: The membership of TMWS is open to Sri Lankan Muslims. The executive committee shall have the exclusive right to accept or reject an application for the membership without assigning any reason. The membership fee is Rs. 250/- for per day and a person who becomes member of TMWS shall be considered TMWS full member. All dependent family members of a full member shall be the dependent members. However, if any adult member of the family wishes to become a full member can do so by applying for the membership. A full member shall have the voting right. The members shall provide their inputs in decision making and extend their cooperation in the execution of the association’s programs. Any full member can become member of any Operational Cells of TMWS as per his interest to contribute to TMWS to achieve its goals. For your valuable donations or contributions we a Welcome |
