IntroductionI grew up on the island of Tonga and in country Victoria, Australia. I write freelance articles, short stories and regular humourous online columns.I also write articles for lifestyle sustainability magazines. My credits include international writing prizes for short stories and poetry. My writing is regularly broadcast on national radio stations within Australia and I have a novella 'Ants Aunts and Funerals' completed and will, this year, have an interactive writing site set up. I love to write short stories featuring the lives of ordinary people doing slightly quirky, sometimes extraordinary and rediculous things and try to feature the funny side of life which can be found everywhere if one cares to look. My writing has been published in Australia in both print and radio media, in America and Britain. All work on this site is subject to Copyright. No use is authorized without permission of the writer.
InterestsPeople, family, gardens, the environment, music, books of course, especially history and biography, just about anything but sport.
Favorite moviesAll the old ones. English comedies and the Pink Panther movies and lots more.By-the-way we spell favourite with ou in Australia. I don't like the way Americans sometime show historical movies and change the facts to suit the box office ratings, rather than the facts. I also become irritated by the spelling differences between the various English speaking countries but that is a problem all writers have.
Favorite musicDevorak, Bach and Chopin, and....... How is it possible to have a favourite? It changes every day dependent upon my mood.
Favorite booksAt the moment anything by Elizabeth George,Colleen McCulloch,Shane Maloney and best of all P.G.Wodehouse

Compose the lyrics to a new national anthem that features an animal sound at least once:

Australian's let us all rejoice for we have wombats free. They run around at night on roads and drivers have to swerve. If missed, the wombats watch the crash and giggle tee, hee, hee.
