| Introduction | Farmer, father, husband and active community member. Growing up on a family farm taught me many lessons, and I can't imagine a better way to raise my family. I wanted to share some of these experiences and lessons with the world or at least anyone who may read this blog. I wanted a catchy title, and my wife will say its my favorite meal, but it also illustrates what we do bringing these products to your table. I am an Iowa State University graduate and taught high school agriculture for a while. I have had the opportunity to speak to many groups over the years about my experiences including the Coalition to Support Iowa Farmers, Farming for the Future Conference, Chicago Farmers Club, Iowa State Beginning Farmers, Land Investment Expo, Summer Land Conference, Iowa Valley Community College Ag Continuing Education and the Iowa Power Farming Show and many others. |
