| Introduction | A few months after my second college graduation, I was jobless, listless, and mostly hopeless. I was working in a soul-sucking corporate call center and had been rejected from more jobs than I had even applied to. Thankfully, I caught wind that my favorite local toy shoppe might possibly be hiring and that I might possibly be a shoe in.
