| Introduction | Rev. Jim Wilbur, D. Min. He serves as the Executive Chaplain for Providing Hope Ministries. He oversees the equipping, training, and administration of approximately 35 volunteers and three part-time staff members who minister in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility. He received his Doctor of Ministry from Vision International University in 2007. He served twelve years in the United States Army and left the military in 2000 for full-time ministry and has served in various roles as; associate pastor, senior pastor, corporate chaplain and family counselor within the Pennsylvania Dept. of Corrections. He is married to Chrisitie Wilbur, and they have two boys ages 14 and 12. They have resided in Kingston Pa. Since 1997. |
