Introduction I am a retired forensic psychologist, now employed as a college psychology instructor. I have nine books in print, and two out of print. I have been nominated three times for the Private Eye Writers of America Shamus Award, twice for books in my New Orleans-based Pat Gallegher series, and once for my Eamon Gold series set in San Francisco. I am the only author ever to have won the Short Mystery Fiction Society Derringer Award twice in the same year.
