| Introduction | I recently graduated with a degree in art history (it's 'reputable' according to Brad Pitt's character in that recent classic, Mr & Mrs Smith) and am now attempting to make sense of the world via this knowledge. My attempts may be thwarted by the apparent incompatibility of art and the 'real world', but I will hopefully be able to draw some parallels. I started this blog as a light-hearted experiment in writing, and as an effort to stop my intellect from crumbling now that I am no longer in structured education. Forgive me for my mistakes along the way; I hope this blog will reflect a development in my writing and my understanding of twenty-first century life. |
