| Introduction | Artist Statement I was raised in Los Angeles County. I’ve loved to draw and paint since I was a child. After my youngest started school I found a neighbor who was teaching a small oil painting class out of her garage. I took lessons from her for about one year. My family and I moved to Oregon where I continued to paint as much as I could. I was invited to hang some of my pieces in a gallery in Sisters Oregon. They sold. Painting took a back seat for the next 28 years. Right now I am at a place in my life where I can focus on painting full time. I look forward to learning new techniques, mediums and growing in this adventure of art. I have done romantic realism with oils in the past. I have shown in galleries, banks and open air shows. I also have pieces hanging in private homes. |
