| Introduction | I have been collecting recipes since I was a child. I was 10 years old when my mom started teaching me to have dinner ready when she got home from work. I have shoeboxes of clippings from newspapers and magazines, a good sized bookcase full of cookbooks and notebooks full of my cooking diaries. With the advent of my home computer circa 1989, I have 3500 recipes in my recipe folder and over 100,000 recipes in my email mostly from Yahoo! Groups. I keep a 30 pocket expandable file organizer in my kitchen to store the daily printed recipes with my notes. I operated my own small herb business, Hilltop Herbs, for 15 years. I have a B.A. in Chemistry and am an RN. |
