| Introduction | My name is Marnie. Despite my name, I'm an ordinary girl from an ordinary town. I do ordinary things like watch movies and spend too much money on treasures my husband thinks are ridiculous. I have my own little jewelry business, I guess that's special. I like to redecorate my house about every 6 months, I suppose that's not ordinary. My kids are the funniest people I know and my husband is my best friend - that can be considered extraordinary, I think. I blog because it's a means of reflection and is somewhat therapeutic for me, but also because it's a source of entertainment for my darling Mr. B (and perhaps for you too). |
| Interests | My kidlets and my fella. Reading, movies, music, making jewelry in the dungeon (cue maniacle laughter... mwahahahahahaaa), photography, and my doggie Django. |
| Favorite movies | I'm too deep in love with movies to pick favourites - there are many but here are just a few of my current favs: Boondock Saints, Amelie, Little Miss Sunshine, True Romance, Snatch, Hard Candy, The Constant Gardner, The Changeling (1980)... so many more. |
| Favorite music | Again, too many. Here's a few that stand the test of time: The Cure, Camera Obscura, The Smiths, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Southern Culture on the Skids, Django Reinhardt and many other wonderful jazz artists. |
| Favorite books | Yep, you guessed it. Many here too. Memoires of a Geisha, Divine Secrets of the YaYa Sisterhood, The Notebook, Interview with the Vampire, almost all of the Jane Austin classics, and so on. |
