| Introduction | I'm an artist from London. In my twenties I was a neo-naturist performance artist, in my thirties I was an eathmother in an Irish fishing village. When I was forty, I was gripped with a sudden irresistible desire to become a surfer. I'd never done any sport in my life, my idea of a work out was wheeling the pushchair up the lane to pick blackberries for crumble. But my mind was made up - I moved to Biarritz, where I swapped a painting for a longboard and joined the Mamas Surf Club...... |
