| Introduction | I am a wife, mother, grandma, and great grandma. In 1972 married my life partner Jim, a divorced, strapping, handsome, young, man. With him came his 4 little children, Cherie, Jamie, Angie and Mike. When the kids came over there was not a dull moment. We were later blessed with 2 children of our own. Joleene and Garen. We have 9 grandchildren. Jamie's children-Casey and Andrew, Joleene and Colby's children-Victoria, Jake, and Devon, and Callie. Garen's children-Aspen, Aiden. Then our 3 great grandchildren-Jamie's daughter Casey is married to David, they have Carson, Payton and Brighton. We are blessed. 7 years ago we moved to a little home, with 5 acres, that is on top of the highest locations in our area, hence "Cottage on the Hill". With a beautiful view we enjoy the natural beauty all around us, lots of deer that we love (and hate), wild turkey, fox and many other fun things. I love to spend time in the yard, my flower and vegetable gardens. We have some great hills to play on when the snow is on the ground. The grand kids just love it. I did work outside of the home but now you can see why I am Semi-Retired. |

| Favorite Movies | Last of the Dogmen, Chicago, The Blind Side, and Jim and I love to have a Bourne Trilogy night every once in a while. We love lots of other movies. |

| Favorite Books | This is only a few--I am a book worm and I love my books and my Kindle. I love the Janet Okey books, All of the "Left Behind" series, "Ree's Mountain" by Roger Long, Dan Browns books, "Flags of our Fathers". I just finished 3 very good books-a series--"The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", "The Girl who Played with Fire", The Girl who kicked the Hornets Nest", I am reading all 18 books of the "One for the Money" series, Oh they are so funny. I also read and absolutely loved "Pillars of the Earth". "The Harbinger" As you can see I am all over the place with the kind of books I read. I just love reading. Will add more on occasion. |
