| Introduction | Bobby Benjamin's culinary passion began at the age of 13, as his curiosities about the world of cuisine were awakened by a family who loved to cook together. Bobby believes food is a gift to inspire people to come together to share a common experience. Bobby has held various culinary positions at internationally renowned restaurants, determined to expose himself to as much culinary knowledge, experience and technique as possible. Before landing at Flyte World Dining & Wine (Nashville, TN) in October of 2006, he served as Sous Chef under Chef Tyler Brown at the Mobil Four Star rated Capitol Grille, in Nashville’s Hermitage Hotel. Throughout his culinary career, Bobby has been in league with renowned chefs such as Sean Brock, Wolfgang Puck, and Gino Angelini. As Chef de Cuisine of the Five Diamond rated Oakroom in Louisville, Kentucky, Bobby is committed to using natural, humanely raised, organically grown ingredients in the creation of his menus. Throughout his culinary career Benjamin has based his cooking upon the mantra: “the last bite is always as good as the first,” focusing all of his culinary passion and creativity into developing each dish into its own masterpiece. |
