Introduction	This blog is intended to stand as a record of my journey by bicycle from Beirut to Venice. I will be making my way through Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Greece, Albania and Croatia before arriving in Italy. I will try not to cheat by taking planes / trains / automobiles, but can't promise that the situation on the ground in some areas won't make biking...unwise. I'll be carrying a pair of flip-flops, lots of water, a mobile phone and a sawn-off toothbrush, and I'll see you after.
