| Introduction | I"m a do-it-yourself enthusiast and enjoy messing about with bits of wood especially in the garden. I'm never happier than when I've got a drill in my hand and a couple of screws in my mouth. I'm an ex-designer of textiles, packaging, china, and wrapping paper and love homes and gardens and all that goes with them. I volunteer in my village and open my garden for charity. My passion is for potted plants. I grow several hundred plants in pots which is useful when it comes to decorating the village hall. I have always taken an excessive number of photos and keep them on an external hard drive. When my ancient laptop announced that it was going to die in precisely two minutes, and then did so; my husband generously bought me a new one that I could use on the net. Then my daughter, home for a flying visit, set up this blog and said, 'Go on, show everyone your pictures on this'. Not only am I a nervous novice blogger, but I'm just starting out on the net as well, so here goes. All the photos are my own unless otherwise stated, please don't use them without my permission.
