| Introduction | My Dad died on October 12, 2006 from Mantle Cell Lymphoma. His Mother (Josephine – the "J" in my name is for her) died of Lymphoma as well in 1964. WHAT DRIVES ME? I have lost too many friends and family members to these diseases -- and myriad other cancers -- I don’t want to see anyone else experience what they went through! I know that we are on the verge of finding the cures and what I have seen achieved since 1997 when I became involved with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is proof and provides the reason that I am so passionate that every dollar and every voice raised in support of what we do will continue to make a difference. |
