| Introduction | I am a retired primary school teacher who has taught since 1972 and retired in 2011. I enjoy reading, driving and talking! Before I retired I was lucky that I worked in a job where it is possible to learn something new daily. When working in a primary school one is expected to have the answer to that thorny philosophical question;- 'If it is seasonal to eat turkey at Christmas, why don't we eat penguin?' If you can answer that one please email me it to me! I have been married to my wife since 1972, I still don't understand why she hasn't moved on to someone wittier, better looking, richer or more talented- perhaps she just enjoys a challenge! We have two grown up children who have left home and making their way in the world. My daughter and her family live in South West England and my son and his family live in Tasmania. I welcome any comments relating to my blog. Feel free to comment! I will read every one. Comments are moderated and so will not appear immediately on the site! | Interests | Computers in the world today. Reading. Since the MPs' expenses scandal I have been interested in studying the expenses practices of MPs, particularly in relation to The Fraud Act 2006 which came into force in January 2007. |
