| Introduction | The Japanese American Friendship Association (JATA) can provide you with opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, take a trip or tour in Japan, learn a new language, learn a craft, eat new types of food, participate in cultural events, community events, and MORE!! What do you have to do to become a member? It's easy! The JATA is FREE to join! Just come to one of our meetings or events and complete a membership apprication form. The JATA meets regularly at the following locations and times. - Every Tuesday, 7:00pm, Main Gate of U.S Naval Air Facility Atsugi. After meeting at the Main Gate, we then proceed to the event location. Additionally, the JATA usually holds two weekend events monthly. (The weekend meeting time and location depends upon the event scheduled.) Try it out. If you like it, ... stay with it. If not, ... that's ok too, ... but at least you did try it!
