| Introduction | I'm a writer and college radio DJ. I had my 1st radio show in 1986 and have pretty much been on the air ever since, at four different college radio stations all over the U.S. I have a Master's degree in Popular Culture Studies and have written about music, youth culture, and pop culture for a number of publications and websites, including the beloved teen mag Sassy, music site Uplister, youth culture blog YPulse, and the scholarly Radio Journal.
