| Introduction | Out There has appeared in The Record and other Torstar publications since 2006 (I think). I don't know if this is the best approach, but the key to a long freelance career for me has been to file on time and keep sending invoices until arriving at that sweet place where no one really knows who I am or who hired me in the first place.
