| Introduction | My niece gave me my nickname when she was 3. I took my 2 nieces and nephew out to their small garden every morning. I pointed to the vegetables as they began to pop up and broke up the syllables to teach them how to pronounce zu-cchi-ni. They couldn't pronounce the chr from my name. Kika worked! 2013-my niece is now in college. The name stuck and most of my nieces and nephews call me Kika. I am the middle of 9 kids and as of November 2013 I have 17 nieces and nephews. One of my favorite colors is yellow. I notice yellow objects first when going on adventures. Why a blog about brunch? I am not a foodie, though I do like to eat! Growing up our parents took us out to Sunday brunch after church as a family to teach us good etiquette. On occasion my Dad taught us how to balance a spoon on our nose and how to make a glass ring by running a wet finger around the rim! |
