| Introduction | I'm an award-winning writer, editor and historian based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I've worked at those endeavors and in non-profit management and development for 30 years. I'm a dynamite proposal writer with a successful track record of raising substantial sums for my clients, and I have researched and written the histories of several local organizations, including Ironworkers Local 8 and the Women's Coalition of Milwaukee. Recently, I served as editor on an inspiring collection called A Celebration of Caregiving: Portraits & Stories. In 1998, in conjunction with the Wisconsin Labor History Society, I wrote a book about women labor union pioneers in Wisconsin, Like Our Sisters Before Us: Women of Wisconsin Labor.
