Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
It's a question of Macro vs Micro-evolution. If spoons and forks are of the same species, say utensilia, then it could be possible that one is just an adaptation of the other. However, I do not believe that species will ever evolve into a different species, such as plateforma.
