| Introduction | American Christians need to understand what God means when He uses the word 'love'. The love of God has a Biblical definition and is God's first priority for His people after they have placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Since I did not find a volume on this topic in Christian literature, I thought it important to write one. At some point in your pilgrimage, you really ought to know what God means by His Great Commandment. American culture will mislead you on this question. Check out 'The Most Excellent Way'. The title is lifted from the last verse of 1 Corinthians 12, where God elevates His love above apostleship, prophecy and miracles! In 1 Corinthians 13:13 God says that love is greater than faith! How can a Christ-follower not care about love more than faith? |
