Introduction	Lucky enough to spend plenty of my time enjoying birds and wildlife, I'm based here in Yorkshire, close to the coast where I grew up and do much of my birding. Amongst other things I'm a bird guide, field ornithologist, nature writer, public speaker, educator and comms specialist for conservation causes. I also co-founded and co-direct The School of Birding (schoolofbirding.com).
