| Introduction | Watching films is almost always an emotional journey for me, thus “Linyang Pinoy, Hugot Pinoy” on Facebook was born when I was channeling through films all the emotions I had during a crisis. Though they may sound passive-aggressive at times, I believe I am able to get my point across. Historical, humorous, and personal are characteristics of my style–offering tidbits of showbiz history, intrigues, and my own personal stories. Not to mention social commentaries. I used to be conservative with how I see and review films--traditional and structured. But years of watching films, experiencing them, and taking a masters degree at the University of the Philippines made me look at them differently. A filmmaker, a film scholar, & a film archivist, I am proud of my film collection both on physical media and digital files. I write and direct events. I manage people. I am a Mental Health Coach. |
