| Introduction | I was born in Brooklyn but grew up in Bethpage, NY. I've always lived on Long Island but I've worked in all five Boroughs at one time or another. I've been employed in the office furniture industry for most of my life but after getting laid-off from my last job in 2008, I made up my mind to go back to school. I always had an interest in law so my major is in paralegal studies. In today's world of contracts and "fine print" I feel that it's important for everyone to have a basic understanding of the law. Not knowing the law is never a defense for breaking it. When I graduate I'm hoping to find a job which allows me to use my skills to help people at some level. |
