| Introduction | Devoted reader, eternal apprentice and insatiable for knowledge, Késia Nunes is a high school student of the Civil Building integrated course at the Federal Institute (IFRN), a musical student at the Conservatory of Music (UERN – PROEX) and a passionate about the languages studies, mainly English. Aware of the youth social engagement importance, she's a volunteer at the Support House for Cancer Patients, where she assists at music and culture/languages classes. At the Ney Pontes Duarte Municipal Library, Késia's involved with the children and youth section of literacy and also participates of reading and cultural sharing programs and runs religious programs for children at the weekends too. Késia is the founder of the A.J.U.D.E.C (United Youth Association for the Development of Education and Culture, in english), and also works with the IFRN Language Center, being among the organizers of activities such as Conversations Circles and Cultural Sharing Meetings, receiving support from the Valdemar dos Pássaros Student Guild. Through this blog, she shares her experiences in programs such as EIP 2011, in which she’ll be participating in July. |
