Introduction	Several months ago the opportunity arose for me to undertake some of my university studies in an Asian country of my choice and for reasons unbeknown to me I chose India. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Learning Management (A.K.A Primary Education) at CQ University and as of January 2011 I will be enrolled at The Lovely Professional University of Punjab India. If the name is any indication, I am sure this university will be ‘just lovely'. For some time now the desire to experience India has niggled and irritated me. I can’t quite explain what it is that draws me to this country. Perhaps it’s the culture full of contradictions, the promise of spirituality or the culinary delights. Or, it may just be the thought of challenging my pampered Western ways that has me hooked on experiencing all that this country has to offer. Regardless of the reasons, my journey to India begins on December 26th, 2010 and through this blog I hope to record and share some of my experiences, shocks and adventures.
