Introduction	I'm now a 50 something mom with 3 kiddo's, all 3 have left the nest. I used to work crazy long shift work hours, then injury happened and forced me to work part-time. I am fresh into retirement. The earliest stage and am just getting my feet wet. This is a personal financial blog in hopes of bringing better accountability to myself. And also a small place to share my random thoughts and life plans. I became serious about paying off my mortgage in 2009. Feb 2 2012 was my last payment. Since then I have focused on my retirement savings and finding ways to live life and enjoy my time.
