| Introduction | I am the granddaughter of Thelma & Curtis Lewis; the 2nd grandchild of her oldest (and only) daughter. As a child, I was accustomed to seeing Grandma write frequently, usually in the morning with her coffee. She passed away in 2014, at 93, and I'm a bit obsessed with sharing these journals with family. They are so insightful and provide a wonderful snapshot of not only her day-to-day life, but of the time period in which she writes. |
