| Introduction | Our Media Center is a beautiful facility located in the heart of Paine Primary School. We are fortunate to be able to provide our K-2 students and teachers with a vast selection of fiction and nonfiction books, as well as a large variety of audio-visual and technology items. It is our mission to support and enhance instruction of the Alabama state standards and Trussville City Schools' curricula, and to encourage the love of learning and reading. We operate using a partial-flex schedule that allows us to work collaboratively with our colleages, designing engaging work that helps students learn challenging content at deep levels. Our BOE, technology, and library staff provide training to our fellow teachers, encouraging the use of new technologies and the infusion of Web 2.0 tools into classroom instruction. It is challenging and rewarding work environment, and I'm lovin' it! |
