| Introduction | While I was traveling I would sometimes tell people about all the wild experiences I was having. Often they would say, "Wow, I want to have my own adventure." This would make me feel cheap because much of what was going on was uncomfortable and unwanted. To me, adventure is a series of poor decisions with a fortunate outcome. The purpose of this blog is to talk about some of the unpleasantness associated with my journey for the vicarious pleasure of all. I will eventually write about all the nice cheese, wine, and excellent friends that were the silver lining, but the first thing I intend to do is knock out the bizarre adventure part as it is burning a whole in my keyboard. |
