| Introduction | Hi and welcome to our class Blog! My name is Mrs. Small. I have been teaching for 13 years. I started my career in Mount Forest where I taught JK. Then I ventured to Arthur where I taught grade 5 for three years. Next, I went to the city-St. Joseph, Guelph, where I was a Special Education Resources Teacher (SERT). Nine years ago I was welcomed into the St. Joseph, Fergus, family. I continued in the SERT; then I returned to the classroom to teach grades 7, 4, 5, FDK, and now I have returned to teach grade 5 again. I loved each chapter of my teaching career. Grade 5, I must admit is a wonderful year for students. We can look forward to a year full of greater independence, hands on learning, and many research projects. I am so blessed to teach at St. Joe's. This is truly the best school and community:) |
