Introduction	The Yacynych family, as best I can tell, is from the Carpatho-Rusyn area in Eastern Europe that spans the Ukraine and Poland. (You can read more about our heritage here.) Our name isn't a common one, so I believe that anyone with our surname is somehow related. There are variations in the spelling of the last name (Yacynych, Jacynych, Jacynycz), but I hope to show that we all come from the same tree!
