Introduction	I'm learning as I go...how to backpack and how to write about it. Now that I've written "Rim to Rim––Death in the Grand Canyon" I call myself an author. Next in the series will be "Wolf Pack––Murder on Isle Royale". I started backpacking in 2005 and began my novel in 2009. Before that I ran a video surveillance business for 28 years with my husband whom I married in 1969. After we sold the company to a British corporation, we were free to follow our dreams. I have two grown sons and five grandchildren. We all live in the Chicago suburbs. Life is good.
