| Introduction | A blog about my travels. For those of you who aren't aware, a wownie is a wanna-be-brown-person (brownie). This term was coined when I was in Dubai where the highlight of each year was the Diwali party, and I desi danced it up just as hard as the aunties and uncles. Living in Dubai, almost everyone there is an Expat so we all got to know each others culture. That's what got me into travelling and really experiencing different cultures and ways of living. I'm now living back home, Australia, for university. Travelling is a little more expensive but I hope to continue. |
