| Introduction | Joe Leger is a certified Grief Recovery Specialist who has been practicing since 2013. He has worked as the volunteer coordinator for Hospice Greater Moncton, and as the Coordinator of The House of Nazareth. He served as a member of the Greater Moncton Homeless Steering Committee and was among the first members of the Housing First initiative, helping vulnerable individuals transition from shelters to sustainable, peer-supported housing. Joe believes that unresolved grief can a have a lifelong, negative impact on our capacity for happiness. Grief comes in many forms: from the death of a parent or pet, loss of mobility from an injury, loss of employment, trust, or any of the other almost 50 life events that cause us pain.
