| Introduction | My name is Amber Boice. I'm an actress and a writer and a gluten free baker! This blog is the product of a sort of strange need of mine to share my progress with the world. I'm trying to live my passions and hope to inspire the same in others. If you wanna act-ACT, if you wanna write-WRITE. Just do it! Don't settle for an office job if you want to be more. If you've come here for recipes or maybe you have writers block and need to commiserate with someone, you have come to the right place. I may even put up some pointers on makeup...This is generally a place for all the mental spillage I have to offer. It could include anything from comic strips I draw up to short stories I wish to share with the world. Let me know what you think and if you have your own blog I'll want to check out. | Interests | My interests are far too varied to summarize briefly, but I can certainly try. I like film, acting, theatre, writing, going to the gym, baking, cooking, making clothes out of recycled denim in particular, sketching but not painting, blogging, swimming, going to the river and sunning myself on the rocks, singing in such small venues as my car and the shower, watching history channel television programs about the universe and the end of the world, worrying about the end of the world, trying not to think about asteroids flying far too close to earth through outer space, politics (i did major in polisci after all), people watching/ writing character sketches based on what I imagine their lives are like, imbibing various caffeinated beverages...and ummm let's see... how about innovation too? Oh and Defying the Laws of Grammar, Gravity, and on rare occasion the Commonwealth. |

| Favorite music | RACHMANINOV, that's really all I need...and Chopin. I like music in general. |
| Favorite books | Catch 22 is lovely- I think I have a similar style to Mr. Heller...I liked Choke by Chuck Palahniuk...I have no idea if I spelled that correctly. All the Douglas Adams books are absolutely amazing to me, they really get to me in ways other works simply don't manage to. Those are just a few of my favorites, but I have so many more. |
