| Introduction | I've lived most of my life in Pennsylvania. In my early twenties I gave Oklahoma a shot. I don't recommend it. I have seven sisters and several neices and nephews, most of whom I never see. At the moment, I am living happily with Angela, my fiance, and her son Garrett, who I spend most of my time with. When I am not with them, I like to be by myself, hopefully drawing or writing or being creative in some way. But that fucking TV can be so distracting. I try and take care of my Mom as best I can. I used to read comics, but I haven't in a while. "Longshot" is my favorite. I have an online comic at Drunkduck.com/Empathy. I haven't worked on it in a while but hopefully that will change soon. Check it out and give me 5 stars. I need 'em. |
| Interests | Drawing, writing and reading when I can. I collect movies, especially '80s movies. I also like '80s music and I'm developing a TV show collection that is largely '80s. I like staying home and watching TV with my fiance, Angela, and her son Garrett. When it's nice, I like to run and ride bikes with Garrett (I taught him to ride a two-wheeler). |
| Favorite movies | "Raiders of the Lost Ark" is my favorite movie. I also like "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Blade Runner". All three star Harrison Ford and all three came out in the early '80s. I like most of Steven Spielberg's movies ("Jaws" is my favorite next to "Raiders") and nearly all Quentin Tarentino films (I don't really like "Reservior Dogs"). Naomi Watts, Bruce Willis and Edward Norton are among my favorite actors. |
| Favorite music | Pretty much anything 80s. I don't like '90s bands as much as when I was living in the '90s. My niece turned me onto Tegan and Sara. I like "Wolf Like Me" by TV on the Radio and "I Can't Decide" by the Scissor Sisters. |
| Favorite books | I read "To Kill a Mockingbird" in school and it is one of my favorites. I like a lot of the older Stephen King stuff. Koontz is good. Brian Daley's Han Solo books. Ian Flemming's Bond books. Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes tales. Do comic books count? Because the original "Longshot" series and the entire run of "Ultimate Spider-Man were exceptional. As was Garth Ennis' run on "The Punisher" and Brian Azzarello's "The Joker". |
The wicked backspin caught you off guard. How will you play it off without losing your footing?
I don't play it off. I play it up. Make it look like it hurts more than it does and show them I can take it.
