Introduction Greetings from the pine tree-covered land of Hatchechubbee (pronounced Hatch-ee-chub-bee), Alabama! I taught school for many years....mostly junior high English and high school drama. Nowadays, I am managing the office of my husband's construction company,tutoring, selling vintage finds on Etsy, being a "Mugsie" (Hatchechubbee-ian for grandmother), and enjoying time with my hubby of 30+ years! Favorite Music Love music of all kinds...and singing out loud (for my own enjoyment, of course)as I meander through whatever God has planned for me each day
Favorite Books Ahhhh, so many....depends on mood, etc, but I do like Christian mystery fiction and historical fiction...and I loved The Traveler's Gift by Andy Andrews...I just finished Lis Wiehl's book The Face of Betrayal...I've read just about all of Mary Higgins Clark's books...I love the work of Dee Henderson..Ted Dekker...Terri Blackstock...Brandilyn Collins...Angela Hunt...Frank Peretti...Iris Johansen...Beverly Lewis...Julie Garwood, My favorite devotional books are Streams in the Desert by L.B. Cowman...My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers...God Calling by A.J. Russell, and I heartily recommend Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis and Be Still My Soul by Elisabeth Elliot....See what I mean? There are so many good books out there!
