About me

OccupationMethodist Minister
LocationBelfast, Northern Ireland
IntroductionI am David A. Campton, a Methodist Minister, currently in the Belfast Central and South Circuit, and superintendent of Belfast Central Mission, one of the oldest charities in Ireland. I am one of the organisers of the 4 Corners Festival, a published poet and a regular contributor to Roots for Worship.I'm married to Sally, who has worked for many years in the voluntary and community sector. We have 2 sons: Owain and Ciaran. The views expressed here are not the official viewpoint of the Methodist Church in Ireland, or any part of it, merely personal ramblings. The A. of my name is to distinguish me from the other David Campton, another author and playwright.
