| Introduction | A 24 year old father of a beautiful 3 year old girl. Not sure which career path under the umbrella of criminal justice I wish to take. A possible career may be,though not very specific,the opportunity of working with juveniles. This may be too bold a statement but those seeking a career in criminal justice must have some desire to better society. The best way to accomplish this is to focus on the area most vulnerable; an area abundent with stepping stones toward the development of the career criminal. Therefore, it appears that by emphasizing on the juvenile aspect of this disfunctional society and equally this system of justice, working with juveniles is more than likely the best way to better our society. Given my blog topic it appears my "about me" is a bunch of B.S. However, Iam firm believer in accepting the consequences of ones actions. Granted a juveniles age in specific instances may require obvious absence from certain punishments. When its obvious an offender is aware of their actions and the consequences that follow, age should never be an automatic disqualification of punishment. |
