Introduction	I'm an 18-year medically retired Navy Veteran (94-11). After retirement, I fell into a deep depression and after almost a year finally found employment helping veterans find employment. I learned a lot about the many programs available to help veterans, but more importantly, I connected with many women veterans and realized that many of the issues I had during and after the military were very common among the women veteran population. After starting a support group for women vets in my community, I decided to start this blog to document my journey, as well as provide an outlet of information sharing among other women vets.
